Some More Time in Dublin

October 1, 2016

Our visit to Dublin was lengthened by the airline this morning. We're on a bus heading back into town from the airport to see whatever we can. When we arrived I was thrilled by the transit system. As I'm sure other planning nerds would understand, I opted for a leap card.

Leap Card is the transit payment system operated by Transport for Ireland. Similar to the Presto Card in Ontario, you can load credit to pay for transit across Ireland. The system offers a 24% discount off of regular fare. What I didn't know, and only discovered this morning is that one card can pay for multiple fares in Dublin Bus.
