St. Louis, Missouri
In light of events that took place over the summer and news expected to be released today, a map of race by place of residence in St. Louis, Missouri. The city and its suburbs are highly segregated by race: over the Mississippi river, across Dr. Martin Luther King drive. Many US cities are highly ordered by race. Social and economic processes express their interactions spatially producing geographic patterns like these. Segregation of this kind signifies many problems requiring fixing.
